Gamma Gamma Lambda invites Upstate Brothers to attend Annual Founders Day Program on December 13th.
Alpha Phi Alpha was founded on December 4, 1906.


Chapter's program will be held at
Enoree Folk Baptist Church in Greer, SC

Greer, South Carolina - Gamma Gamma Lambda Chapter will be sponsoring a 2015 Founders Day Program on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Enoree Folk Baptist Church on 100 Enoree Road, in Greer, SC (29650). The service starts at 10:00 am. The brothers are being asked to assemble in front of the church at 9:45 am so we can be seated together.

Please wear official Alpha Attire being a Black Suit, White Shirt, Black/Gold Bow Tie or Neck Tie. Following the service we will have a professional picture taken.

We will use this event as a reclamation event so lunch will be provided for brothers and their families. Please RSVP Furman Jackson at or, before December 4, 2015 so we can know how much food to prepare.

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African-Americans, was founded at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York on December 4, 1906. The Gamma Gamma Lambda Chapter was chartered on August 24, 1941 in Greenville, South Carolina under the Umbrella of the National Organization and the first African-American Greek-Letter Alumni Chapter in the Upstate of South Carolina.

Established in 2012 as a public 501(c)3 non-profit, tax-exempted organization, Alpha Phi Alpha Greenville Foundation's mission is to aid the poor and disadvantage and help them toward a life of self-sufficiency. Our programs address teenage pregnancy prevention, college preparation & awareness, educational scholarships, youth leadership development and other similar programs. We serve the Upstate area of South Carolina, and are affiliated with the Gamma Gamma Lambda Chapter of ΑΦΑ in Greenville, South Carolina.
