VOTELESS PEOPLE IS A HOPELESS PEOPLE
Alpha Political Awareness Forum to be held on Feb. 21

Clemson University, Clemson, SC-The Pi Alpha and Gamma Gamma Lambda Chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., is sponsoring their Alpha Political Awareness Forum scheduled for Thursday, February 21, 2002 at 5:00 pm in the Student Senate Chambers, Clemson University.

The members of Alpha Phi Alpha feel political awareness among Clemson University students, especially minorities, is an important element of campus life.
This forum will allow Clemson University students and student leaders the opportunity to meet and discuss chosen issues pertinent to the lives of college students and South Carolinians with local and South Carolina Legislators. The issues will include but will not be limited to: terrorism/national security, state lottery, education budget cuts, reapportionment, and secondary education. After the panel discussion all attendees will have the opportunity to mingle amongst each other.

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., is the nation's first African-American Greek-letter fraternity established by college students. Established on December 4, 1906 on the campus of Cornell University, Alpha Phi Alpha has more than 750 chapters worldwide with over 100,000 members. Gamma Gamma Lambda Chapter is the Greenville chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha established in 1941. The Pi Alpha Chapter was established on Clemson University' campus on February 23, 1983.
