Rock Hill, South Carolina (April
17, 2004): The SC College Brother Summit was recently
held at Winthrop University, Rock Hill on April 17, 2004. Both
Xi Phi Lambda
and Xi Phi served as the host for the event.
Brother(s) Bobby Clark, Will Gregg, Charles Tillman, and Don
R. Weston were in attendance representing GGL. The day was packed
with workshops and presenters dealing with topics from “"The
Consequences of Pimpin' ” to “Gangs vs. Fraternities”.
Everyone left the summit a more educated and informed brother.
During the day, there was also a brief SC District Board meeting –all
four GGL brothers were in attendance. There was an update by
the District Director on the District Leadership Retreat (September)
and the District Conference (October). Several items were discussed
addressing new requirements for the upcoming district conference.
