Greek Council sponsors Christmas Social
for Local Greeks

Third Thursdays is a series of events for Black professionals

Greenville, SC: The Greater Greenville chapter of National Pan Hellenic Council (NPHC) is planning to have its second annual Christmas Social /Mixer in Greenville, SC. The Christmas Social is one of a series of mixers called "Third Thursdays" which are held quarterly at various locations. The First "Third Thursday" Event was scheduled in Fall 2001.

This month's Social will be held December 19 and last from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM, at the Manigualt Mansion,at the corner of Howe and Bradshaw Streets (at the west end of County Square on University Ridge) in Greenville, SC. Heavy hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be available. All local Greeks members, their family, and friends are invited to attend.

The following are the mixer dates for 2003:

  • March 20, 2003
  • June 19, 2003 (Juneteen)
  • September 18, 2003
  • December 18, 2003 (Christmas Social)

Places will be announced at a later date.

The National Pan Hellenic Council (NPHC), headquartered at Indiana University, is an organization of the nine historically black Greek fraternities and sororities in the nation. Members of Council include: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. The Greenville NPHC is the local council covering the Upstate of South Carolina.
