2007 FOUNDERS'DAY BROTHERHOOD DINNER
GGL to host
Second Annual Brotherhood Dinner

GREENVILLE, SC: The Gamma Gamma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. host the secoond annual Founders' Day Brotherhood Dinner at Holiday Inn at August Road and Interstate 85 (I-85). This marks the second year, GGL has hosted the event.

"Area I is proud to continue with the tradition of holding a formal dinner on Founders’ Day, Tuesday December 4, 2007 with a meal matching the menu of the 2nd Initiation Banquet. Last year’s event was a great success and this year, we will use the dinner to reconnect with our spirit of Brotherhood as we begin a new calendar year of holding the Light of Alpha. I am inviting brothers in the Upstate and Rock Hill areas to come join us.", says Bobby Clark, SCAlpha Area I Director.

Brothers can contact your local Area I Chapter President or Bobby Clark (email below) if you are interested in attending. Tickets are $30 per brother and proceeds will go to the MLK Memorial Fund. Deadline to purchase tickets is Friday, November 30th.

"Each Brother is asked to bring one (1) or more inactive Brother(s) to this event. Let all Alpha Brothers from far and wide in the Upstate come to celebrate this historic event.", said Bro. Mark Dawson, President of GGL.

"We are asking each Area 1 chapter to bring their Spring Calendar for 2008 so we can support each other whenever possible", comments Bro. Clark. This is a Brothers-only event and attire is semi-formal (Black suit and gold tie).

Any questions regarding this event should be directed to Bobby Clark, Area I Director, via an email message at carlc@alumni.clemson.edu.
