98th Founders' Day Celebration for the Upstate
to be hled on December 12th.

GREENVILLE, SC: The 2004 Founders Day Celebration for the Upstate Chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. will be held on Sunday December 12th @ St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Taylors SC. Service begins at 9 am, but organizers are requesting all brothers to be present by 8:45 am so Brothers can congregate and walk in together before services.

St. Matthew UMC is located in Taylors, SC and the event is being chaired by Brother Rudy Simmons, " I can't exclaim enough how excited the congregation is to host our great fraternity's Founders Day Service." The event's Keynote speaker is Gamma Gamma Lambda's Brother Deacon LaVelle McCray. Our theme is "Reclamation, Reconciliation, and Renewal."

"From me to you brothers, I present a heartfelt plea for all brothers (and their families) in the Upstate Chapters to come out and worship December 12th", explained Brother Simmons. Any Alpha brother (active or inactive) and their family is welcomed to attend. Chapters from Spartanburg, Greenville, Clemson, Anderson, and even Rock Hill will be in attendance.
