Conway, SC (April 2007):
More than 150 brothers attended annual College Brother
Summit. The summit was recently held at Coastal Carolina
University, Conway on April 20 & 21, 2004. Both Mu
Epsilon Lambda and Nu Pi served as the host Chapters
for the event.
Brother(s) Bobby Clark, Mark Dawson, and Don R.. Weston
were in attendance representing GGL. The summit with
workshops and presenters topics ranging from Brotherhood
to Neophyte Training.
During the day, there was also a brief SC District
Board meeting . There was an update by the District
Director on the District Leadership Retreat (September)
and the District Conference (October). The highlight
of the day of the General President's and Assistant
District Director's Forums .
Three of the six current General President candidates
responded to questions from the Brothers for 90 minutes.General
President Candidates in attendance were Bros. Cecil
Howard, Elvin J. Dowling, and Herman "Skip" Mason.
The event closed with the newest brothers of the district
receiving their fraternity shingles and pins, after
completely neophyte training.
